Despite being originally designed as a hotel, Itokai Dorm’s hallways are infamously hostile to anyone unfamiliar with their layout. Naomi Mitsunaga is finding out the hard way, having spent the last ten minutes dragging the instrument cases in her hands through the fitted-carpet corridors looking for room 236. With an exasperated sigh, she finally arrives at her destination and puts the instruments down before knocking on the door. Much to her surprise however, there is no response.

Naomi: Hey, Lennon and McCartney, you in there?

Yuzuki: (She emerges from the adjacent room, bookbag in hand. She quietly turns around and locks her door, evidently a little uncomfortable encountering a stranger in the hallway) 

Naomi: Oh, excuse me… are Alice and Yui here?

Yuzuki: H-huh? Oh, no, I don’t think so… (She looks Naomi over) Are you from their band?

Naomi: Theoretically, yeah. Don’t worry, we won’t rehearse in here or anything.

Yuzuki: N-no, I know. I don’t think they’ll be back until later, sorry. 

Naomi: Bummer… Here I thought they didn’t have social lives.

Yuzuki: I’ll tell them you were here. What’s your name? 

Naomi: Tell them… (as she turns to Yuzuki, her usually cheerful expression turns to a frown) … Mitsunaga was here.

Yuzuki: Mitsunaga-san, okay. I’ll let them know. Well, I gotta get to class, so… 

Naomi: (she takes a few sudden steps closer) Sorry, something’s not exactly vibin’ with me, here. (raising her finger, she presses it to Yuzuki’s forehead) Is someone bothering you?

Yuzuki: (She recoils at the touch) Wh– hey! What are you doing!? 

Naomi: Asking if someone is bothering you.

Yuzuki: Wh-what do you mean? No! 

Naomi: Someone’s obstructing you. Better be careful. (she tilts her head slightly) Just a heads-up, I guess.

Yuzuki: (She takes another step back, defensive) What are you talking about? Obstructing what? 

Naomi: Your good vibes, perhaps?

Yuzuki: (She sighs, exasperated, but apparently relaxing) Okay, I’m gonna head off to class now…  

Naomi: Don’t let me get in your way!
